Martin is one of the partners of Smart Steps Accounting and provides a wealth of experience having worked in a number of prominent Accounting Firms on the Sunshine Coast over the past 21 years.
He has recently returned from the USA working as CEO for a US Company. Martin enjoys working with both small and large businesses to maximise the clients wealth.
Martin loves all sports and is a Cowboys supporter but we won’t hold that against him!

MICHELLE CIVITARESE

Position: Partner
Michelle is one of our partners at Smart Steps. Michelle has knowledge and experience in many areas of accounting including Self Managed Superannuation Funds, GST Advice, Structuring and Business Advice/Support.
Born and bred in Ballarat, Michelle is well travelled having lived in many parts of Australia including Tennant Creek, NT. She has, however called the Sunshine Coast home for the past decade.
When she’s not at her desk Michelle chooses to get the most out of her spare time by keeping fit, travelling and sitting down to enjoy a nice glass of red.

CHRISTINE MULRANEY
Position: Administration
Chris is an integral part of the Smart Steps team – she is the one who brings it all together. Chris is the Office Administrator or in other words the one that keeps the wheels turning allowing everybody else to concentrate on what they do best.
Chris provides administration and accounting support to the partners as well as handling accounts payable, payroll and all ASIC transactions.
Originally from South Australia, Chris is a passionate AFL follower and often heads down to Brisbane to support her mighty Lions. Chris is also enthusiastic about keeping fit and active anyway they can and love to get down to Mooloolaba to walk along our beautiful coastline.

ALLYCE LEO
Allyce is one of the accountants at Smart Steps. She has lived on the Sunshine Coast for 12 years now and loves to surf.
Allyce holds a Bachelor of Commerce majoring in Accounting from the University of the Sunshine Coast and provides support for the partners within the firm.

ANDY JANG
Andy is one of the accountants at Smart Steps. Originally from South Korea, he has lived on the Sunshine Coast for 7 years.
Outside of the office you will find him swimming with his kids at USC pool or one of the coasts.
Andy holds master of Accounting from the University of the Sunshine Coast and provides support to the Smart Steps team.

Andrew Galer
Andrew is one of the Accountants at Smart Step having recently completed his Bachelor of Commerce Degree and is currently undertaking further study towards CPA certification.
Outside of work, Andrew is a family man and a mad Titans supporter.

Greg Dinsdale
Greg is one of the accountants at Smart Steps.
He is a CPA and has completed his Bachelor of Business.
Greg is also a Commissioner Of Declarations should you need documents witnessed.
After being partners in an accounting practice in Rockhampton for
almost 20 years, he relocated to an accounting practice in regional
Victoria for 6 years. With a desire to return to the coast and Queensland,
he relocated to the Sunshine Coast in 2019.
Away from the office, Greg enjoys watching all sports and spending
time with family and friends doing nothing or anything.
Nikki Marsh
Nikki is a bookkeeper at Smart Steps and holds a Cert IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping.
Originally from Melbourne, Nikki moved to the Sunshine Coast over 2 years ago and enjoys running the local trails, heading to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
Renee Trenaman
Renee is a bookkeeper at Smart Steps. She moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2015 from Brisbane.
Outside of the office you will likely find Renee reading a book on the beach (soaking up the sunshine)
or off exploring the treasures of the coast.
Renee is currently completing her Certificate IV in Bookkeeping and Accounting through Monarch Institute.
She hopes to keep going with her studies all the way to an advanced diploma in bookkeeping services
where she can continue to provide support to the Smart Steps team.
Laura Jeffrey
Position: Reception and Staff Support
Laura grew up in the north of Brisbane, moving to the Sunshine Coast in 2015, she now proudly calls Noosa home. She is currently studying Bachelor of Nursing and is passionate about helping people.
Away from the office, Laura enjoys camping, sports, going on walks through the hinterland and visiting her parentsí farm. If sheís not out exploring, she is usually studying or watching a good TV series.
HOLLY MANNION
Position: Reception and Staff Support
Originally from Katherine, Lived there for over 15 years so I call it home.
I’ve been on the Sunshine Coast now for 6, nearly 7 years.
I love the ocean and learnt how to surf, so I spend a lot of time out there and
if not, I’m usually outside exploring the hinterlands, finding walking trails, gym or watching a good movie.
